Mr. Ian Baum (since 2014)
B.A. Psychology, Touro College

M.S. Education, Touro College (in progress)

Mr. Baum graduated Touro College with a Bachelors in Arts and Science and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Education. He has worked in local yeshivas for a number of years, most recently in Yeshiva Ketana of Long Island. During the summer, Mr. Baum is a key staff member in the Diamond Summer Program and has been involved with it for over a decade.

   Mr. Menachem Borenstein (since 2015)

Mr. Pinchas Fiber (since 2016)


Pinchas Fiber is a graduate of MAY with an avid interest in learning, teaching, and all things sci-ence. He is pursuing degrees in Biology and Sec-ondary education.


   Mr. Joe Malizia (since 2006)

BA, Chemistry, Boston University MS, Science Education,

Boston University Certificate in School Administration,

Hofstra University 

Teaches: Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, Physics Prior to joining MAY, Mr. Malizia was the Science Department Chairperson for the Carle Place School District. Mr.   Malizia has taught overseas, gone on safari in the bush, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the   Rockville Centre Little League and Basketball Association.

   Dr. Adam Miller (since 2009)

B.A., Psychology, Yeshiva Univsersity

Psy.D. Clinical Psychology, Yeshiva University

A musmach of Yeshiva University, Rabbi Dr. Miller is a practicing clinical psychologist. His training and expertise are on synthesizing psychological concepts and applications with Torah Hashkafah. 


   Mr. Sanford Pesner (since 1987) 

BS, Science, CCNY

MS, Psychology, University of Massachusetts

Teaches: Biology, Earth Science

Mr. Pesner chaired the Freeport School District's Science Department and was honored with an Outstanding Teacher of Nassau County award. He taught workshops for the NYS Science Teachers' Association, including "Motivation of Students in the Learning of Science" and "The Teaching of Science through Magic." His articles about innovative teaching techniques have been published in many educational periodicals. Mr. Pesner has performed in films and Off - Braodway shows!
