The drive was spearheaded by 11th grade Rebbe, Rabbi Shmuel Oratz and senior Yitzi Sphelfogel in conjunction with the Bikur Cholim of Brooklyn.
“The annual blood drive is just another way in which our talmidim inculcate the Torah values they are taught at the Mesivta into real world situations,” commented Menahel, Rabbi Yossi Bennett. “We are extremely proud of the of the talmidim who helped with the organization of the drive and those who participated.”
The faculty and talmidim of the Mesivta got the collection started, after which many people from the community participated, excited to donate and assist in this worthy cause. The Mesivta thanks the Bikur Cholim and Maimonides Hospital for helping organize this drive and all those who participated. Yasher ko’ach!
